An event for all INTUIT Dance students based on our studio’s exploration of
dance and storytelling. Performance Workshop, Teen Company and an Adult Repertoire Ensemble also performing.

DANCE-A-STORY
June 24-28 | July 15-19 / 9:30 – 11:00 AM / studio 1 oak park
Ages 4-6 years. Each week a different story will be read and children will participate in art and dance activities to reinforce the literary themes. Instructor: Diane VanDerhei. $25 drop-ins.
• $100 for 5 days

MINI DANCE CAMP
July 1, 2 and 3 / 9:00 AM – NOON / studio 1 oak park
Ages 6-9 years. Ballet modern hip hop and dance making. $50 drop-ins
• $120 for 3 days

JULY DANCE INTENSIVE
July 22-26 / studio 1 oak park
9+Teens - 9:00 - 11:30 AM (9+Teens) and/or
8+Teens - 12:30 - 3:00 PM (8+Teens)
Ballet intensive in the morning and modern and dance-making in the afternoon. Supervised lunch 11:30-12:30. Lunch $10 a day.
• $200 half day or $400 full day

HIP HOP INTENSIVE
July 8, 9 and 10 / 10:00 AM – NOON / studio 1 oak park
• $90 for 3 days

Note: Plus a full line-up of our wonderful classes and performance workshops. Remember if you dance in the summer you get cast in pieces for our December show!

Adults only! Lift, stretch and feel like a dancer! We will keep it fun while using the principles of ballet technique to reach your goals. (JH)

WERQ (New!) / 7:00 – 8:00 PM / studio 1 oak park
Adults only! WERQ is a fiercely fun dance fitness workout class based on pop, rock, and hip-hop music. The WERQ warm up previews the dance steps used in the class and the WERQ cool down includes balance and yoga inspired poses. Are you ready to WERQ? (SaraB/JaniceH)

Barefoot Boot Camp (New!) / 7:00 – 8:00 PM / studio 2 forest park
Adults only! Ready for some Barefoot fun this summer? Barefoot Boot Camp uses principles of yoga, tension release, and contemporary ballet to give you a gentle and yet thorough workout. (DV)

'Love Your Belly' / Sunday 2:45 – 4:15 PM / studio 1 oak park
12-Teens/Adults. Mothers and daughters welcome! Taught by Samantha Brenneman – founder and director of SMOKE belly dance troupe a Sister Studio of FatChanceBellyDance. Trained under master teacher Carolena Nericcio. (SB)

A: Capoeira Angola is an Afro-Brazilian Martial Art that incorporates acrobatics, dance, and is commanded by music and energizing song(s). Lead by Oliver Camacho––artistic director of GCAMA Capoeira (an organization dedicated to preserving this art form and educating others through Afro-Brazilian expressions).
